Earth Heart—how remarkable! Almost the same word, only the “h” is in a different place.
I had noticed this striking connection before. It turns out that “Earth Heart” has been chosen as the motto for a global ceremony to be held on November 20, 2025. The ceremony is the brainchild of the Dutch spiritual teacher and writer Ton van der Kroon.
The ceremony will coincide with the 30th International Environmental Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil. (Belém is a port city located near the mouth of the Amazon River.) Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwV4OC09e2E for an impression.
Ton van der Kroon
In his latest book, The Way of the Water : A Shamanic Vision of a World on Fire, he takes readers on a quest to discover the meaning of water for humanity, the Earth, the oceans, and the past and future of our planet. He also considers water to be a metaphor for the flow of life, healing, and awareness.
Worldwide, Van der Kroon has been active from a spiritual perspective for decades. He has traveled extensively and shared his experiences in books. Each time, he is driven by a mission to clear up something in a particular region and to work toward better mutual understanding between people.
Channeling
When traveling, Ton is inspired by contact with unseen forces that nevertheless have a significant impact on the development of the Earth and humanity. His strength lies in his ability to explore – by channeling –-the depths of what is happening in a region now and what has happened there in the past.
When one channels, one acts as a “channel” for an unseen force, being, or group of beings, which may be immaterial, human, or animal. In The Way of the Water, these spiritual forces seem to emphasize that humanity is on the verge of a completely new phase of development.
The themes
The book is so rich that a short text like this cannot do it justice, but I will give it a try.
The story opens with Ton searching for ‘the right route’, from the Netherlands, along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, to Portugal.
It goes on to describe a visit to the Azores, a group of islands located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, considered to be the most likely site at which the mythical land of Atlantis sank.
Finally, we read about how he reaches the Amazon in Brazil, and the trip he makes into the jungle.
Central in the book is the urgent need for humanity—and for the Earth—to bring feminine values back into the spotlight. We must recognize that thousands of years of patriarchy have led to limitations and distortions, damaging both the human soul and the many forms of society around the world.

A symbol of those feminine values is Sedna, goddess of the deep sea, originally from the Inuit, the indigenous people of the far north of Canada. At the start of his journey, Van der Kroon received a message from Sedna.
Sedna
First and foremost, Sedna represents the expected, significant shift into the Age of Aquarius (see Blog 42 (Eng.): “The Greater Perspective”), and astronomers named this distant dwarf planet after this goddess. In her elliptical orbit around the sun, Sedna comes closest to Earth once every 12,000 years. That happens to be the case in this 21st century! According to astrologers, it means that humanity is entering a new phase of evolution.
In the mythical story of Sedna, she is the goddess of the sea, closely related to whales and dolphins. She embodies independence, purity, and living from an oceanic consciousness. And she represents the primal power of the feminine in every sense.
This primal power has been lost, as the power of the goddess—and of women—has been obscured and denied for centuries. Fortunately, a shift is taking place in our times.
Earth Heart Project
I recognize the themes addressed in The Way of the Water as being crucial to the choices that must be made at this time. These choices will determine whether humanity will evolve in the coming decades or contribute to its own demise.
Ton and his partner, Anne, strive to connect the hearts of all those who stand for a new Earth, where people care for each other and the Earth, and redefine what life can truly be.
That is why they call for participation, either in person or remotely, in the ceremony that will connect people on November 20, 2025. For more information about Ton and Anne’s activities and the book, visit https://connecting-the-dots.eu/.
